
BRUCE
EDWARD NOSWORTHY
February 7, 1950 - September 18, 1988
Aged 38 years. Peacefully after his
battle with cancer and whose death
occurred at the Dryden District General
Hospital on Sunday, September 18, 1988.
The late Bruce Nosworthy was born in
Winnipeg, Manitoba and educated at Sargent
Park School and Daniel McIntyre High
School, Winnipeg. He moved to Dryden
in 1973, employed with Niagara Finance
Company and later with Thunder Bay
Bearings in Dryden. For the past 10
years he has been employed with the Sounds
of Music in Dryden. He enjoyed
music, having played in several bands in
Winnipeg, and was an avid photographer and
gardener and loved to travel.
The late Bruce Nosworthy is survived by
his wife Audrey of Dryden and two sons,
Timothy and Allan, at home; his sister
Sandra, Mrs. Jarvis Gorman, of Winnipeg;
two nephews, Darryl and Rodney and a niece
Kelly, all of Winnipeg. He was
predeceased by his parents, Edward and
Kathleen Nosworthy.
A memorial service for the late Bruce
Nosworthy will be held at the First United
Church, Dryden on Thursday, September 22
at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Kenneth Rentz
officiating.

"Bruce also enjoyed music,
having played in several bands in
Winnipeg, and was a great bass guitar
player.
One of the bands he played with was The
Flight in the late 1960s."
